Today is when the real work started! We had planned to start meeting with different employees at Rede Cidada to gather the information we need for our project. Brazilians are not very fluent in english and nobody on our team knows Portuguese, so communication would have been an issue if it wasn't for Guilherme! I don't know if we would have been able to accomplish anything if it weren't for him. He is with us all day long, sitting in in all meetings, translating to us what people say in Portuguese and translating back what we say in English.
Team working hard
After work, we had our first weekly team meeting. We all got together to discuss how things have been going with our customers. Daniel and Bruno had very good insights on some of the issues we had been facing. We are going to have a team meeting once a week. It is good to hear the issues other teams are having, and how they handled them, because a lot of them are similar.
After the meeting, we all went out to dinner because it was Daniel's and Bruno's last night here. Bruno is coming back every week though. We'll miss you Daniel! Hopefully, we'll have a chance to meet up again soon. Actually, the team already started planning our 5 year reunion in 2017 :)
